If you are an open person, one who can not help but to see the beauty in all things, the world will, like a flower, open itself up to you. All art, natural and artificial, even of the massively produced persuasion, will start revealing a relevance to you.
But if you are a pessimist, and a cynic, the world and all of its beauty will hide from you. Messages will hide under the guise of “irrelevant” objects and the world will repel you from its nurturing arms. If you refuse to lose yourself to the world, the world will be lost to you.

An Opportunity to Help, Close to Home

There is a man who rents a room in my house.  I get upset with him, but I think I shouldn't.  He breaks house rules that say you shouldn't use other's things without replacing them.  He will drink my teas, eat my honey, use my paper towels and dish soap.  He has even used my dish towel to wipe spills from the floor.

This man is also of very poor health.  Without a transplant this year, he will likely die.  He is a nice guy.  His family seems not to care.  The cost of his actions to me are no more than ten dollars and a bit of patience each month.  That's not a lot of Love to muster.  There is probably more I can do.  I will think about it.
